Yes! I served while the CG was under the DOT. When I say Old Guard I mean hidebound sexists, bigots and old men who in their heart of hearts would like to go back to the Days when gays were kicked out with dishonorable discharges and women didn't serve.

As a USCG veteran I'm appalled but not surprised. This administration is finding old guard brass to fill flag positions. These are old fashioned anti "woke" types who hate sexual harassment initiatives and have been waiting for a President like Trump. This is happening in every branch!

They purged the last commandant a few days after Trump was inaugurated. She was new guard and had strong policies regarding harassment etc. She was targeted by the Heritage foundation early!

As a CG veteranIm appalled! This is what happens when they put "Old Guard" Like Lunday in charge. Every branch has some brass who despise anything they consider "woke". Things like anti sexual harassment initiatives etc. Lunday was elevated to Commandant because he is part of that old Guard!
