They are the worst. They make the care you do get more expensive. Found out my rheumatologist cash pay amount was $125. With my high deductible insurance, I paid $300 out of pocket. The price the Dr. would charge the insurer to get the wanted $125.

You can't possibly be saying this conflict just started in the last few years? If we're mentioning deaths, you might want to check the numbers on the deaths of Israelis v. Palestinians over the last 75 years or so and the conditions the Palestinians have lived under for decades.

Is he going to sit in the room and watch a baby die of pertussis? Is he going to pay the medical bills that will come from a child suffering and trying to overcome a vaccine preventable disease? He's a monster, and I bet he and all his children have been vaccinated.

When I served in the guard, we barely had time to get in our annual recurring training, training in our specialty, much less how to operate as LE in a modern US city. It's absurd and dangerous.

I don't understand why they're paying the $75 million to the government to then recieve $790 million in frozen research funds from the government. Why not cut the research grants to $715 million? Is it just for show? To appear to be getting the money as punishment without mentioning the rest?

Isn't he the guy that loves HB-1 visas? The one where the employer has all the power over the employee and can use the visa as a cudgel to get more and cheaper labor out of those employees? Yeah, he's that guy.

There is no free market. They all charge the same, not in a coordinated way exactly, but in a I know what the other guy charges kind of way. It's all about maximizing shareholder return. Auto and homeowners are the same. He acts like insurance companies don't have actuarial tables.

More likely death for high risk or already ill folks. They're throwing out $2-3k a month premiums for healthy young people. I'm sure the average person has an extra $24k just laying around.

Lots of people out there living with the mistaken belief that they'll never get a chronic illness, get cancer, have a serious accident, or ever experience a catastrophic health problem. We're all one diagnosis or accident away from financial disaster.
