Just because he wears a nice suit and has a (D) attached to his name in the polls and news titles doesn't make him any less of a fascist in the company he keeps and the ideologies he lets into the public eye. Divorce the idea that Democrats can't also be capable of fascist thinking.

It's not up for debate. He is one. He hosts podcasts with Steve Bannon, Kirk, and many other architects of our current situation. He gives space for the ideologies that have steered us directly into open fascism and legitimizes them. If that doesn't make him a fascist, then I don't know what does.

Also frankly, Newsome's still a fascist. He's just in a flavor more acceptable to people who won't be affected by it in a way they're unable to ignore.

We could change the Democrats BEFORE they're in office by canvassing and voting for people who aren't willing to throw entire minority groups to the wolves to get elected. It's three years until the election, we HAVE to come up with better options than "marginally better than a Republican" AGAIN.
