I’ve used Tidal for a year now, the audio quality is outstanding and i like choosing a smaller company. However there are a few niggles like some more niche songs not being available, and the app doesn’t always remember where you were up to in a playlist

Exactly! Expected this to be about people taking several months at a time…. Not a couple of weeks every year, where you’d get that as paid leave nearly anywhere else. I’ve never seen entitlements less than 3 weeks/year.

I still remember walking past this at a convention somewhere and going “hey that reminds me of Rand al’Thor” - such a good job creating a sense for the character and series with just a side-on body shot

I had a page recommendation for skylight.social on Bluesky who are doing exactly that, if that’s the one you’re thinking of. It was just a few posts above yours so still fresh in my mind!

If it’s set standard usage where biweekly = every 2 weeks, then it’s probably just then normal way to refer to it and there’s no confusion. We get stuck because we’ve got a perfectly functional word dedicated to the description!
I can ask a US friend actually - she should get a laugh out of it

I think it’s something like biweekly instead - we had this discussion come up at work a few months ago! There was something we couldn’t get straight - and it might have been that they call it a biweek or just plain old two weeks

The biggest irony being the blatant disregard of “the golden rule” in putting this into action.
