Hampton’s legacy is starting to be sanitized by mainstream politicians, in much the same way that MLK Jr’s legacy has been. Never forget that Hampton was first and foremost a revolutionary. He believed in the power of class solidarity and was staunchly anti-capitalist in his messaging.
