I think you are making excuses for people with a backwards view of the world just because they are of faith. If we shrug and say “oh well, that’s just religion” these beliefs perpetuate. I can agree to disagree on many things but human rights isn’t one of them. Enjoy the game.

People are born gay mate. You don’t get to just decide you don’t agree with someone existing because a book from over a thousand years ago tells you to. If we don’t challenge these views they become viewed as acceptable.

It’s not important to you, unless you are one of the minorities being persecuted by people with Bronze Age beliefs.

No one cares about his homophobic stance. They care that one of the biggest clubs in the world chose to back it. They should have worn them and allowed him not to wear his if that was his choice. They have chose to tolerate intolerance and it emboldens homophones everywhere by supporting his actions
