The founding fathers were bright but also flawed. Initially rights were only secured for white, male, wealthy landowners. But the people have fought to expand these rights to all. WE THE PEOPLE will not go back to a time when rights only apply to the white, male, and wealthy again.

The right says that we need to tax the wealthy less to somehow make the economy better for the rest of us. What do they have to say to the fact that marginal tax rates were WAY higher during a time when the economy worked a lot better for the average individual? We need to tax them MORE, not less

The right has this fantasy that if you get rid of public services, the market will come in and replace those services with more efficient ones. Y'all should look up the "Free Town Project" in Grafton, New Hampshire. That experiment ended with lawlessness, no public services, and aggressive bears

They will. The world knows that they can't trust the US, and Elon specifically. It's not just Starlink either, Europe is investing more into its own defense infrastructure knowing they can't trust the US. Sad how quickly and viciously the US turned on its allies

I’ve had arguments this week with people about DOGE. Some people are convinced that because Elon and other billionaires are already wealthy, that they don’t have any reason to steal their money. Pointing out the conflicts of interest and his government contracts doesn’t help. I just don’t get it.

Because of project 2025, we’ve known Trump’s intentions even before he was elected. Well now he’s formally ordering for the Department of Education to be abolished. We need to INVEST in public education, not defund it.
