My big tent has been doing *great* lately. Not very tall, but bushy and expansive! Left side, #NightOwl seeds, Tropical Popesicle and Soace Station Gold. Right side, Gasreaper genetics, Lemon Butter Breath. Both grown with black beans. Flower started late Jan.

Big tent is going so well, and I didnt expect it to recover from early stunting! As with most cannabis plants, I am growing these with black beans in the pots. The vines are great for structure, and the roots help fix N in the soil.

My 2x4 tent has been doing pretty well lately. Well, it's had a gnat problem, but we're getting it under control. And I got some books to read, which is always great. But the plants have hit flower and done a nice bit of stretch!

Cultivating my own meds is such a sanity restorer. Would recommend.
2x4 garden tent. Three cannabis plants and a struggling tomato on the right. Cannabis plants are in early/mid flower. Left pot has black beans growing around a pole. Cannabis in middle, green, pot. Propane Exchange by Night Owl Seeds. She started slow on me, because I'm going through some soil/environment issues. But hit the gas in flower. Excited for her to develop more. Cannabis on right side of left, 20 gallon, pot. Flight of the Concords by Night Owl seeds. My wife got really excited about this one, so, I had to get one going for her. Same issues with being small in veg, but same soil/enviro issues. Has started branching out and taking to being tied/staked down well enough. Left side of the 30 gallon pot, top down view between light bars. Cannabis in early/mid flower, Orange Bubblegum by Twisted Trees Autoflowers. Another cultivar I got for my wife! I've grown it a few times, but mostly at the beginning of my growing, so I'm excited to see how my knowledge will impact the plant! She seems to enjoy having a black bean vine right next to her.

It's been a tough week. Month. Year. Decade. Oof.

I made the family pancakes for a late breakfast. Stayed up last night to clean and make the batter beforehand. Very well worth it, these pancakes are great!

I hate aphids so much. Been dogging my tent for weeks and tbh I dunno how they even got in. Really hoping the D.E. kills 'em off, cuz I'm not sure how else to handle them. I've tried ladybug larvae, and they do a little, but never enough. And that's to speak nothing of the shitty gnats.

My old 2x4 light went out a few weeks ago, and I had to make due with a small one. Well, the new light came in, so I moved the small one to the 3x3x6 tent to help finish the flowering Time Machine off. Plants is fun.

Spent several minutes watching one of my garden ladybugs clean themselves up. There was debris on their legs I saw them clean up, and then they started flexing their wings, one at a time, as if to also clean those. Arthropods seem much more complex than most folks tend to think.

My wife found a big jumping spider, and called for me to take it to the garden downstairs.

I set her(?) on one of the Golden Goat leaves, and she wandered a bit. I think they seem to like the new home, and gods know there's plenty to eat!

A mostly black jumping spider on a cannabis fan leaf. The spider has bands of brown on its' lower legs, as well as three orangeish spots on the abdomen. The spider from the front. You can kinda make out the eyes. Very fuzzy, orange-ish, pedipalps.

I was raking the back,and moving the compost totes to the garage side. Saw this big mama spider, defending her web. She's already lost a couple legs, but she was determined to stay put, even as the totes were rustling and being filled. I hope her eggs survive, we love spiders here!

Haku doesn't normally like stepping/laying on blankets. I think the texture and plush give makes her uncertain.

But yesterday, she just laid on me over the comforter for a while, purring and making demands for head scrubbins.

She's gotten so affectionate as a senior!

This plant got so dark! Pretty sure it's just a cultivar thing, but maybe the attitude of the black beans got to her, too. I didn't expect much out of her, the soil was in N fix mode, and is due for amending. Hence the black beans (and clover.)

I caught Lily in a yawn!

No one ever told me ladybug larvae are oddly cute.
Got some aphids get into one of my cannabis tents, so I got some ladybugs to deal with them. It's fun to watch them hunt.
