Physically: agility and dexterity, more specifically his legs. Rae doesn't train his legs much, and his lack of dexterity/agility is often his downfall—literally. It's how Astarion managed to send him on his arse on the beach. (1/3)

Wearing leathers instead of armour makes this a little less of a weakness, but it's still not his forte.
Emotionally: father-figures, driders, and loss. Seeing drow that remind him of his mother. Abusive mentors/teachers. His reaction (most of the time) to any of these is pretty vicious. (2/3)
