So not only do I thank Taylor for such a beautiful experience for so many people. I thank every swiftie out there. For creating a space where I feel welcomed, where I’m not scared to be who I am. Though I’m sad about eras, I can’t wait for what the future brings! ✨

In these times I noticed something. I never felt out of place, I never felt like I was crazy. Looking to deep into things like I felt I did with other pieces of media. I didn’t feel weird or dramatic because for once I felt like I didn’t look insane. I felt at peace.

Before I knew it I was collecting records and CDs, doodling Taylor on my schoolwork, and most of all..dedicating my nights to glitchy livestreams, trying to figure out if she was wearing the pink and blue or the gold. Falling deeper and deeper in love with so many songs… (5/?)

From Midnights, to Rep, to Lover, to Evermore, to Folklore, to 1989, to Speak Now, to Red, to Debut. and to Fearless. I was becoming a whole new person. I still remember how I felt when I went to bed one night and woke up to the Speak Now TV announcement, how childishly excited I was. (4/?)

Then it was the videos of her on stage, while I had YOYOK on repeat I was in awe of her glittery bodysuits and unstoppable stage presence. As I fell deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole I found myself listening to and memorizing every song. The more I listened the more I felt heard. (3/?)

I never understood what it felt like to be truly heard until that fateful day in my biology class I pressed play on Midnights. I hadn’t heard Taylor’s music since the Rep era and I thought I would give her a listen. What started as a casual run through of an album blossomed into so much more. (2/?)
