Follow up, Alan Wake 2! This is much more of what I was wanting, really shows how the studio has grown over the years. Really loving how Remedy isn't afraid to have their games blend together while still being independent. The Night Springs dlc was super fun and the FMV was a stellar inclusion 8/10

I guess I should include video games on here too, so first new game I'll talk about here is Alan Wake 1! Had a good time with it, played the remaster and felt like I was never in a situation where I was strapped for resources. I had played Control before this and it made me want to play this. 7/10

Really late on this one but next movie was Sinners. I had seen all of one trailer for this, and then a friend who isn't really into horror movies told me I had to see this. Holy shit were they right. I went in knowing almost NOTHING and was blown away by the sights and sounds presented here. 9/10

Next up, "Wizards" from 1977! I love Ralph Bakshi's style, and him taking his urban exploitation to a fantasy realm is a crazy combination. In all honesty I feel the biggest drawback was its short runtime, they had to cram a lot into such a short time and I just wanted to see more of the world. 7/10

Now on the OTHER side of vampire movies, Salem's Lot (2024)! Loved this as well it's obviously VERY different in tone. Whereas Nosferatu is oppressive and slowly builds to its punches, Salem's Lot starts dragging you down quickly. (1/2)

Nosferatu! I had been wanting to see this since December but only got the chance last week. Holy shit was it amazing. I'm a sucker for everything Robert Eggers puts out but this might knock The Lighthouse out of first place for favorite film from him. (1/2)

Second watch of the year 2005 CaTCF. So if you know me you know I have an... attachment to this movie, but it just doesn't have the same charm as the original. The retro-futurism look is so close to being (personally) perfect but it just falls so flat. I wanna give it a lower score but gotta go 7/10

So first up! Wicked Part 1! Saw this with my folks at home on demand and it was a fun watch. Ariana Grande was honestly hilarious as Galinda and Cynthia Erivo gave Elphaba a terrific energy. I was never super invested in the story of Wicked but it was done well enough to make me wanna see part two!
