Also maybe it’s just me but I don’t understand why “realism” has to be cynicism and selfishness. Nani prioritizing her own desires over Lilo is not “realistic”. If I lost my parents and had to raise my siblings, my ass would not think about “self care” I have a CHILD to raise??
