There's a running joke in Hitchcock's Frenzy where a character's wife makes horrible "ethnic" food for him. This culminates in him drinking the most disgusting drink ever, apparently- a magarita.

We can definitely both relate to how finding your glasses is made much more difficult by having lost your glasses.
