I thought Tamilnadu had left behind the fiery speeches of Karunanidhi and Periyar. But with this recent furor and the spate of explicitly dalit subject films that Udhainidhi has chosen to act in, we are seeing a revival -- possibly as an explicit strategy against the BJP bring back the 1920s!
