These Gucci ribbons came with their packaging. I’ve been wondering how best to utilize them and today’s the day they realize their purpose to become bone casings in my jacket! Waste not, want not.

WIP: both sleeves are on! Still need to add the rest of the boning, poof support in the sleeves, turn the hem, add the lining, then…finally decide the closure system.

Aaand one sleeve installed. The great thing about 2 pieced shaped sleeves is that they’re pretty much impossible to put on backwards even with my dyslexic brain giving me nightmares that I did put them on backwards…4 times. Got it in one, in waking life.

Tried Big Mountain plant based roast yesterday and leftovers this morning. It’s common allergen free, gluten free, soy free, women owned, made in BC, Canada, and tastes delicious!!

WIP: riding jacket of no particular time period is coming along. Will it have pockets? Eh, I don’t know yet. I don’t utilize pockets so I never put them in my clothes. But, they do look nice. And I’d rather make real pockets than just some flaps to nothing.
