Possibly the 1996 IRA bombing in Manchester. I remember in infant school in about 94 being told to pray for the children in Sarajevo because of all the horrible things happening there but we were never told what these were or what was actually happening.

That is exactly what the article is about. It's a pretty decent summary on the history of milky drinks being used as an insult - and it pokes fun at what a ridiculous idea that is.

The implication that people are playing golf when they should be working, as opposed to restructuring their schedule and using the 2 hours they used to spend commuting. But won't somebody think of the commercial landlords?
