A reminder that Coca Cola with Cane Sugar is still unhealthy. Both contain glucose and fructose. There is not much difference. The same cane sugar product has affected the country's health with you guessed it, diabetes and obesity.

After hours of grinding I finally have him. Dragomon or Dagomon, depending on which language preference you have, in Digimon Time Stranger. I love this interpretation of Cthulhu using elements from Japanese folklore. His victory pose of him praying after defeating his opponent(s) is a lovely detail.

I've seen terrible films. Fixed is nothing compared to Rollergator or Devilman (2004). It's not even worth it to get yourself a souvenir.

... was a Shinobi and Joker was reinterpreted as Oda Nobunaga in Feudal Japan.

There is an annoying double standard when it comes to fictional stories set in this time period. Going to recommend two books for anyone wishing to understand the Aztec-Spanish war and conquest.

I wrote about this last night and I wanted to go over why this TVTropes explanation for a movie that came out this week is historically inaccurate. Non-euro centric civilizations are treated worse than the Spartans or the British Empire or Vikings when suddenly morality is an issue.

Looking through some old files on my computer and I remember saving this image from Popol Nah. I have an intense dislike of New Age garbage for justifiable reasons.

One of my fondest memories is being surrounded by the Pink Panther in cartoons, movies, bootleg merchandise in Mexico, and fan art. I need to go find a paletero.

The chubby dog of Texcoco exists and the good boy has the best 5 star reviews. Bring him some food while visiting.

This cute little guy will make a great addition to several digimon evolution lines such as Sangloupmon, Devimon, and Vamdemon. Just in time for Halloween. 🎃

Time to devour a book.

I am obsessed with the Digimon version of Cthulhu. I wonder if anyone has done any digimon fan art of the outer gods like Yog-Sothoth or Nyarlahotep.

... history I can only offer a few sources but I highly recommend checking out folks who are well versed here on bluesky who specialize on Mesoamerica for a better understanding. Lastly I'm going to post an illustration by Daniel Parada to roughlu show how the clothing looked like at one point.

This is real. America is devolving further and further into Authoritarianism. People gleefully profit in watching cruelty happen.

Here is the Beak Doctor thanks to @elecink.bsky.social.
I enjoy how everything comes together. Works amazingly well as an Ultimate/Perfect evolution to Kiwimon.

I took this for fun, I don't see the functionality of personality tests to be honest. It's online horoscopes at the end of the day.
Regardless, that was a nice distraction to say the least.

... makes sense given how a faction of Atheist cling to the "Renaissance Myth" which saved civilization from superstition. Essentially a fairy tale. What's missing in the setting is the Eastern Orthodox Church which surprisingly Ford Coppola's Dracula depicts, albeit imperfectly.
