Excited to showcase our Winter Warriors! With negative temps and snow and ice on the road, public bike usage unsurprisingly drops this time of year. To supplement our data for the DOT grant, we've recruited local winter warriors to test front-facing Copilots and help us build a more robust dataset

The Velo SBIR team had a successful, snowy #TRBAM! We met the new ARPA-I leadership, the Volpe CSAI team, and had the opportunity to meet with our Complete Streets AI cohort companies to learn more about Phase I projects. @usdot.bsky.social

This summer we partnered with the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority to help them better understand stress and risk levels for cyclists, using Copilot as a mobile data collection tool. The analysis will also help inform potential extensions outside of downtown. Full report: lnkd.in/ekk-FYm5

Last week we were able to showcase our new POGOH partnership through the DOT SBIR with the community! Overwhelmingly, people are excited about the region having access to near-miss data and our technology being integrated onto accessible public bike infrastructure to make streets safer for everyone.
