November was one of my favorite reading months this year. So many great books! I hit a bit of a slump towards the end but Metal Slinger shot me back out of it (go read it immediately!!)

My November reads so far, very varied trying to find distraction and motivation given Everything Going On. Overall a great reading month so far! I have a 5-day weekend starting after today, we’ll see how many more books I get through before the end of the month 📚💙

One of my “goals” has been to visit and spend money at more local book stores. I’m trying to hit all of the ones in my city and stop by at least one whenever i’m somewhere new. I went to Village Books in Bellingham, WA on Sunday and it was so charming! Definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area

Spending the weekend with friends on Lummi bay. Stormy days by the ocean while cozied up inside are one of my favorite parts of winter

Tonight’s read while watching a friends’ kids - book 6 in a 9 book series & a prequel series to some of my favorite reads this year. The magic system is unique, the world is complex, and the characters are expansive. it’s delicious
