Sen’s Fortress — 2.9/5
Listen. I even surprised myself w/ this. Even tho I suffered immensely, I also had fun <3 the place is hilarious at times, and the layout+vibe are cool imo. It stands out from the other locations nicely. The easy boss at the end felt nice after the challenge of the area itself

I mean, just a small-ish boss area. It’s fine! I like what she’s done with the place 🕸️

So GROSS I wanna cry. What even are those blood/pus mounds?? Sloshing thru sewer water is jarring. That chirping sound of the basilisks still gives me nightmares (got cursed once). One redeeming quality is that someone at least went thru the trouble of lighting all those torches:)

Darkroot Garden — 3.9/5
Came here ”too early” to explore at first. SO PRETTY after all that grey stone. Love getting to touch some grass in this game. I like the enemies for their ~whimsy~ compared to ur typical hollows etc. I’d like for it to be a bit bigger tho (ik abt Basin but still)

Undead Parish — 2.5/5
For some reason this place felt frustrating lol. It’s kinda pretty and v similar to Burg, but I was just looking forward to gettin out of there. The Bell Gargoyles were just plain annoying. Also, f that boar. Bonus points for Andre tho <3

Undead Burg(er) — 3.2/5
Pretty fun to explore, a few nice-looking rooms that I could move in to after a bit of decorating :) the lower part LOWERS the grade, however, because I hold a personal grudge against C*pra Demon 🖕

Firelink Shrine — 4.3/5
Iconic once again, love having a place where I can just chill with my ”homies”. Love the crow. Kinda wish there was even more to explore tho. Could also do with some shelter for extra coziness

Northern Undead Asylum — 3/5
Iconic! for obvious reasons, but I honestly don’t remember much of it, because one does not spend much time in there, u know (at least at first, ig). Pretty basic, but it’s a great tutorial area
