i got to go backpacking in the grayson highlands again over fall break! ended up hiking a little over 30 miles on and off the appalachian trail. here are some of my fave pics from the trip

Not knowing what a protein is or some shit The kindergarten-ification of society My husband's work is forcing him to use an ai program that transcribes phone call conversations and it mistakenly recorded the word "poof" as "poop," and censored the word "p***" and marked the call for curse words. How old are we. Can't be horny, can't be half naked, can't make decisions about our own bodies, can't buy video games, can't have any kinks, can't curse, can't say poop, what the fuck is this.

"meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is implementing ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here? Stop just asking "is it normal?" and start asking "is it harming anyone?" Lots of harmful things are normalized in this society and lots of things considered weird or rare are completely harmless. Whether something is considered normal or common shouldn't be the deciding factor in whether it's okay

Hyrule has never known softness. Lucky him.
