While we haven’t made a ton of progress yet, every little bit counts! We’ve added some new features to the game, including falling spikes, a laser trap, a boss, and we’re currently working on a new stage.

I have added an enemy that you can attack, and more enemy types will be created in the future. Additionally, there is now health bar and stamina bar. Currently, they share the same script for testing purposes.

I changed the game art to make it look more retro. I'm not sure if it’s an upgrade, but it definitely gives off the vibe I’m going for.

I have been creating a level spawning system. This system randomly generates parts of a level and adds an ending part when enough segments are ready. It also removes old segments that players can't see anymore to improve performance.

I added some collectibles and effects. A lot of my inspiration came from this mobile game called Flippy Knife that I used to play a ton back in high school.
