My BFFs of 50 years have gone back home. We tried to hike at Mt Charleston but forgot it was closed due to shutdown. We were able to see red rock, though! Yay BLM!

Yesterday, a bunch of people helped clear invasive species from the boardwalk at the #HendersonBirdViewingPreserve. In addition to me and my two 60+ yr old pals, there was a church group from Korea, a Cub Scout troop, and a young barefoot man from NC. Hard work but satisfying.
