I despise the pejorative use of “pig” directed toward humans by humans when actual pigs are intelligent, emotional, sentient beings, and humans remind us daily of human faults and failings. With that said, when Trump called a journalist “piggy,” he was insulting all women.

I often indulge in the joys of nonhumans while out walking. Seeing this worker ant today, I was reminded of the will & struggle it is for some just to live, often because of human disregard, exploitation & cruelty. I wish more of the human race consisted of empaths. What a world it could be.
