For me, yes, same preferences really!

* keep language simple and avoid too technical terms, especially for beginners
* analogies to help learners who like to visualize things in their minds (that’s me 🤓)
* I like workshops to be max 3-4 hours with a 15 min break after a max of 90 minutes

Some of things I like to integrate:
* plenty of time for questions
* keep code short and to the point, serving a full blown pretty Shiny app at the start will only be distraction for the problem at hand
* make examples fun and suitable for the audience
* hands-on and make it interactive

Unfortunately my experiences with reticulate were always mediocre at best. Too much hassle, especially when it comes to the environment and using it together with renv. So I totally get you. Maybe with the new uv integration it will be better though, have to put that to a test!

If you have specific branding you can use brand.yml in combination with bslib - makes it easy to get the logo, colors, typography and that kind of stuff right!

Nice! Didn’t know something like that would be possible with vim (but tbh vim terrifies me so how would I know 😂)

Yay! Thanks for sharing and I’m happy to hear it’s easy to read- that was exactly the goal! 😀

Those problems can be: typos, bad formatting, or forgotten browser() and print() statements. There's a variety of hooks available! See more here: lorenzwalthert.github.io/precommit/
Pre-Commit Hooks
Useful git hooks for R building on top of the multi-language framework pre-commit for hook management. This package provides git hooks for common tasks like formatting files with styler or spell check...
