Probably the best descriptor for the MAGA / John Roberts / Silicon Valley axis is that they’re Royalists. They don’t believe in democracy, and want to set up an elective monarchy with Donald Trump as founding king and themselves as the nobility.

Honestly I don’t think that does justice to how far removed these guys are from the human experience. We think they’re so rich they just don’t pay attention to price of milk, but no they’re so rich they don’t even understand how or where milk is purchased.

Yeah Trump has only the vaguest notion of what gasoline is much less what we use it for. He’s never so much as touched a gas pump in his life and I doubt he’s even seen someone do it. He thinks groceries is an old fashioned word and thought it was quaint to place different foods in a bag to buy.

So I don’t think it matters that some come from Russia or Israel or South Africa or the US. Nazi elements definitely escaped or were recruited in those places. I think they thrived and grew their wealth and built an organization that planned decades ahead

Clarifying this totally unhinged thought a bit more - I mean a Nazi remnant civilization has been using their wealth, science, and control of intel to infiltrate govs, create and own billionaires, and it’s been a long term plot to get back nhi tech taken from the Nazis, along with anything else.

A huge problem is I guess the Russification of major political parties across the West. They openly ally with Putin and use his methods and propaganda and just overall act as bad faith authoritarians to tear down our societies in furtherance of Putin’s goals.

Ok between Nazi scientists and intelligence invited into US and USSR governments, venture capitalists fronting hidden Nazi fortunes, and actual Nazis that fled to South Africa like Thiel and Musk families…I know the idea is they have secret tech but what if that’s the one thing they don’t. Yet.

Very hard to understand why billionaires, with their unimaginable privilege, power and wealth, would go all in on burning down the society that both created their wealth and protects them above all others.
