Thought I’d share a couple of pics of my Spector NS-2JA. I bought it at Knut-Koupeé music store in Minneapolis in the summer of 1985 before heading to Berklee. None of my bass instructors liked the tone, they said it was too bright and edgy. I loved it, however, and have used it on many recordings.

I converted my live bass pedalboard for use with my guitar and synth pedals.

I came across my University of Minnesota ID card. This would have been in the early summer of 1982.
