Since Dio is pronounced Dee-Oh, I read it as "Deez" which also worked.

We also regularly refer to our 13th Age, Pathfinder, or any other fantasy gaming sessions as "playing D&D" and have for a long time. I think that whether or not publishers get on board, players are already doing this for them.

And like, that's fair and all? But the ability to just shut down a project like that is a big part of what bothers me about Roll20.

I wonder if there's about to be a burgeoning market for non-US based intermediaries who receive the games from Asia and ship to the non-US recipients, so that those copies never touch American shores?
