My buddy and next door neighbor had many if not most of the GI JOE line vehicles (was the only line his mom went all in on) we had very few vehicles but lots of figures. My mom and dad went all in on all kinds of other toy lines so I guess I can't complain too much.

Night Raven is top three most coveted Cobra vehicles for me.

Now see, they are marketing this as a remake even going so far as to have Powell and Schwarzenegger interacting and commenting in media...
if they have gone back to the original source material for a complete re-envisioning they shouldn't be labeling it a remake or reboot

I can't stand the Lugosi or Chaney versions. I would upvote Herman Munster first.

Karloff is top of the list for not only introducing the iconic Jack Pierce makeup design but acting the monster with pathos. His version is indelibly branded on our pop culture forevermore even eclipsing the original novel.
That said, I like the Glenn Strange look and lumbering hulk stereotype best

I wish someone would do a movie (or at least high quality animated movie) of the Marvel Presents Barry Windsor Smith WEAPON X exactly as it was printed with zero changes.

I have a very hard time with remakes. Some such as King Kong were so fundamentally different due to technological limitations/differences that I see them as homage or legacy, while remaking basically the same movie with different actors feels like a disrespectful rip off.
Fright Night?
Total Recall?

Thank goodness. I went when DVDs were still largely available while my wife went for everything from electronics to socks. I can't believe I was ever talked into that several years in a row. I won't miss it a bit.
