Yeah I don't agree with that, love mine! Paired with an LLM it's awesome.

I'm beyond disgusted at this point.

If you get *outraged* when clergy asks a supposed Christian to do something Jesus asked of them, but not outraged when other clergy sexually assault children, maybe you are just not a good person—and only pretending to follow Jesus.

Thanks just ordered one! Sick of my Galaxy Ultra paired with my Pixel, hoping this is a better experience.

Nice! I use Unifi cameras and love them, and I've heard good things about Reolink as well.

Home Assistant doesn't do detection or recording. For that you'll want Frigate, which can then integrate into Home Assistant.

Yeah not for me, I have a couple high powered proxmox hosts with capacity to spare for workloads like that.

I also have a spare m1 max MacBook pro that some one said will run ollama nicely, did some quick tests and it's pretty fast so think it just found its new purpose.

Looking forward to this one! :)

Ugh, or not. It only has 8 GB of RAM so kinda useless for LLMs.
December 17, 2024 at 7:41 PM
Same. I'd settle for ollama running on it, using the npus, and integrating that into HA.

Sounds like the first thing he's said I could actually support.
