I'm sure I'm not the only one being overly tired yet unable to turn my brain off. What a gift the @snlmtg.bsky.social community is 💙 I genuinely can't wait to welcome you all in Geneva for #SNL2026!

What happens when you put experts in multilingualism, genetics, neuroimaging, & animal cognition in the same @isbilingualism.bsky.social panel? @nargolestani.bsky.social and I, supported by @nccrlanguage.bsky.social, took on the challenge and...learned a lot while having a blast!

Finally, I'd like to hack a bit around the wiki that stemmed from the recent consensus paper on semantic by @jamiereillycog.bsky.social et al.: consensussemantics.github.io/consensus_wiki A great occasion to share thoughts, but also to learn a bit about github and jupyterbooks!

@pierafilippi.bsky.social, the @nccrlanguage.bsky.social and I would like to ask the big questions: why do we even have language and how did it came about?

@irenebalboni.bsky.social and I would like to share thoughts and opinions on what should be in the syllabus of "neurobiology of language" in 2026. What's in and what's out, in terms of both content and methods?

Alessandra Rampinini and I are looking forward to exchange ideas, tips, and recommendations on how to practice #openscience when it comes to language. We'll be drawing from our experiences www.nature.com/articles/s41... www.nature.com/articles/s41... but are open to any input and feedback!

And yes: on top of the science you get to enjoy the Alps - how can that not be enough to convince you?

Missing from Martin's great recap of #ABIM2025 is his own talk which covered in 30 min ins&outs of representational spaces in behavior, brains, & artificial agents. This edition of ABIM was all-around terrific: check out what you missed (www.unige.ch/ABIM/files/9...) & set a reminder for next year!

Use my ORCID. Use my google account. Use my finger print. Use my iris. But please make this stop! I'd be reviewing 120% faster if I didn't have to waste hours with editorial managers. Summing this to the time I spend logging in Microsoft stuff, I've basically 3h left in the day to do actual work 🤦🏼♀️

Somehow, 2025 is around the corner and the good news is that you can register for ABIM (www.unige.ch/ABIM/) 👇🏼 I mean, look at this line-up 😍

I am running as Program Committee Chair-Elect for the Society for the Neurobiology of Language! I'd love to help shape the program of the conference & more generally actively engage with the community. Cast your votes👇🏽 (and reach out with Qs and suggestions!)

Proud of having been part of this group of teachers, clinicians, & cognitive scientists working towards a comprehensive battery to assess mathematical abilities: www.nature.com/articles/s41... Check out the heterogeneity of strengths & weakness we found in a cohort of dyslexic kids:
