Nah, that one is owned by Facebook/Meta and also has strict rules. I'd rather recommend Mastodon or most other Fediverse instances

I know describing things as social constructs have a negative connotation of them being made up on a whim and I don't think the public is ready to hear and understand it, but I do think that just because something is a social construct, it doesn't make it any less valid or important.

Also you're being really rude right now. Why are you resorting to personal attacks? I'm not criticizing you, I'm only criticizing WoW and it's addictiveness and monetization, and I understand that game means a lot for some people. I'm not taking that away.

I searched up if WoW is pay to win and there are many players claiming that it is. You can pay to boost your character level, which gives you an unfair advantage against non-paying players. If you have definite proof that this isn't the case then I will concede.

I searched up if WoW is pay to win and there are many players claiming that it is. You can pay to boost your character level, which gives you an unfair advantage against non-paying players. If you have definite proof that this isn't the case then I will concede.

I don't even play World of Warcraft but when I search and check its website, it says it has expansions, microtransactions, and pay to win content. I don't want any more of that stuff in Discord.

This is actually really bad. Humam Sakhnini is known for managing and advertising addictive games with aggressive monetization like Candy Crush and World of Warcraft. Might be a good idea to start looking for alternatives like Revolt.Chat or Matrix.Org to fall back on.

Nevermind about Matrix, it doesn't seem very user friendly compared to Revolt.Chat. I think I'll migrate there instead.

Matrix has a very similar UI and functionality but I haven't found much communities there, could be worth checking out though
