Dunno if this is everywhere, but I live in Germany and got a diagnosis for EDS earlier this year. Disability office checked all the provided documents and my symptoms that I suffer from daily and said: we acknowledge you suffer from this but it's not bad enough for benefits/ workplace protection. 🙃
