Some Canadians are making a counter offer to Americans bordering us to join Canada -
However I believe, as true as these stats might be, we are in danger of angering our American neighbours.
It’s not about stats (see below) a- it’s about our Country where we were born and live/love.

Manta Ecuador..basically on the equator. A wonderful area - especially if you like high quality chocolate, Tuna and Shrimp. Also seem to have really nice people who see beauty in their culture and life. Makes me want to stay right here for a few years!

Today on our way to Ecuador we cross the Equator. Sailors who do that are called “shellbacks”. Seems like for the next 4 years we are all going to need a strong “shellback” to put up with the Sh..show we are about to face🤔🫣

Today I wrote “The last page” in Journal #77 and started “Page one” of Journal #78.
The transition marks a milestone of 25 years writing daily observations - reaching back to November 1999.
Most of it has been mundane - but all of it has been therapeutic and genuine🫣😞

Then took a long walk to get in shape for the tour excursions.
