You can workout in the gym. Outside, indoors at home. Movement and training in certain patterns to work certain muscles. You can do it for 20 mins or an hour. It benefits you will see in the short and long term.

As well as doing exercise to work certain muscles. Doing the big lifts are essential to incorporate into everyday movement.

Muscle Gain can be achieved at home as well as at the gym as long as you cause enough tension in your muscles and take them very close to failure with enough sets. The weight helps you get there.

Focus on the big stones to help your goal (weight training, eating nutritious meals, getting enough sleep) before you look into the smaller stuff (supplementation, fancy hybrid workouts etc.)
