I'll need reading glasses or bifocal/ varifocals. Which I needed pre surgery, just for different reasons. TBH in retrospect I'd rather they'd just got rid of the cataracts but left my focal abilities exactly as they were.

2/2 Also no discussion whether I really wanted 20/20 distance vision but not be able to see anything up to 4 ft. Cue comedy moment when I couldn't text/phone OH to come & get me in hospital, 'cos no longer able to see phone keyboard.

Well exactly. It's nonsense. Very good take down of it by SexMatters on X. But it shows that Labour are simply not up to withstanding the Trans lobby inside their own party never mind outside it.
