And how the "Public" dataset is built (starting from other info providers like ENTSO-E, if I get it right). Trying to explain deltas between ENTSO-e and the "Public" dataset. Thx!

Still don’t have a final word on this but I found this site that lets you compare entsoe data with “public” data (whatever that means). And they are pretty different indeed. You can switch from one source to the other tapping the three dots. energy-charts.info/charts/energ...

Thanks. The report is dated 2017 and I think they may have increased quality since then. I have been looking extensively into hourly Italian data, cross checked it with the Italian TSO, and they are 100% consistent over the past 10 years. Maybe I should not take this for granted for other countries.

Usually I download hourly data. Would look like an epic fail from entsoe! Will look into this in a detailed way tomorrow, thanks for pointing this out.
