I really hope I didn't miss wild plum season because of Canadian wildfires and stupid climate policies in the United States. I am not happy with how barren the trees are right now. Having asthma during wildfire season really sucks.

Wait, I spotted some green ones. crisis averted.

This is my little girl. She's not even a year old and I don't want to lose her.

Look who's wearing her brand new dress!

A big thank you to everyone who attended the Queer Youth of Faith Day celebration. Sofia Martin's music was beautiful, and the stick that we made to send our gratitude for the folks at Stonewall turned out lovely. Thank you so much for letting me share my poetry and a little bit of history.

The best way to learn allegedly dead languages and keep them alive is to actually use them in everyday speech. If you can translate this mess, congratulations! It's written in GTB, but if you speak/read Taíno-borikenaíki, you may be able to figure it out. 🤩

This morning, I thought about another reason why it seems like autism is more visible, at least in the United States: Background stressors from tech, plus sociopolitical and environmental factors are so overwhelming, that the extreme amount of masking required to simply exist becomes unsustainable.

I don't mean to make this sound like a complaint, but for some reason my beard is growing in black versus it's normal gray. Is there a reason why this might be happening? It's so weird.

I'm not sure why I'm getting so many darn followers, but thank you! Here's a pretty display that I designed for Love First Q Source, a new social group at church, as well as me volunteering with a friend at the table. Happy Queer Liberation Month, or LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, if you prefer!

Happy Pride Month - Enjoy some history stuff for a new project I'm working on.

Does there need to be an end? Do whatever the hell you want. You can always justify it by claiming it as art. Here's an example from my high school days.

In Borikén, Taíno headdress tend to be made of parrot feathers, but that's not and was likely not always the case, depending on ceremonial rank. As a healer who refused to accept a gender, when I earned feathers, they were crow feathers. On my maternal side, crows are revered, so it worked out.

You asked for a dirtbag to mess with polite society.
You got a dirtbag dressed in male cisheteronormative 80's totally-not-drag glam rock attire.

Performance will be posted here.

This is dedicated to my friend, @ethankocak.com. I went exactly with the aesthetic and attitude you suggested.

Dear God! I just did a translation of a poem about my battling President Annoying Orange with my poetry in Taíno Borikenaíki with some UCTP Classical Taino loanwords to see how badly Gemini would screw it up. Not only did it screw it up, but the translation and commentary were spectacularly racist!

It was completely random and I love it. I was having fun making some press photos. There's a few that I'm pretty happy with...
