I use squarespace so mine looks a bit like this. open your DNS Settings and add a custom record using the information you should have copied over. After that you can tab back over, type in your new handle and verify DNS records and then click the button to save your tag.

First post is gonna be a tutorial to set up a custom tag if you have a domain. First go into your settings, then scroll down and hit change handle and hit the I have my own domain link. copy the information from the DNS panel tab and bring it over to the website where you manage your domain.
