No family is perfect. No parents have fully optimized their lives for bringing up kids.

Even if it were true that same sex parents were demonstrably sub-optimal, that doesn't matter. Otherwise, we'd actively be blocking hundreds of thousands of people from having kids.

Every time some conservative claptrap vomits out some (bullshit) statistics about how kids do better with a mother and a father (as opposed to two moms or two dads), remember that low income couples deserve to be parents, even if their kids are going to struggle more.

Same sex parents do too.
