you do have anime inspiration, but I'm mixed on which exactly it is, 'cause I could be right, but I also could be whiffing it since many people take inspirations in a totally different manner than the actual art style they're inspired by, or because anime/manga artists also inspire each other!

--from subtle to more striking, adding more sharpness through additional thin elements on people, or the other way around, thickly lining the softer spots. and the way you shape characters is much more reminiscent of comic book characters, with their variety and specificity towards certain details.

2) I think your style is closer to Hazbin's than you think, it's just much more pivoted into... soft contrasts, I suppose? your palettes are often just a tone or a bit more light than the bright, snappy colours usually seen within the show. and your line work actually turns these soft contrasts--

I know you probably were just rambling into the BlueSky aether, buuut... 1) "anime style" isn't a set, truly defined thing, too many people, in my experience, describe it by "vibes" and very specific examples; meanwhile, Moomins from 1990, Naruto and Mononoke are all anime!
