I'm gonna be real, I've used a regular SD card forever in my steam deck and have no issues. Yeah it's not *instant* loading but I am not bothered to wait like 5-20 second load screens. Unless you're playing like some brand new hardcore game it's negligible imo

My wife has fairly small hands and she's gotten pretty used to it. I think so long as you aren't playing laying flat down and holding it up to the ceiling for like 4+ hours you will be good after getting used to it.
