Dude, once you grind a Calculator and understand exactly how it works, game's completely demolished.
Throw a couple of Mimes in the mix and every battle's a joke. (EXCEPT RIOVANES)
Dancer + Bard + Mimes is also a brutal combo.

Plus, you get the same abilities by using Agrias and Meliadoul, only they're not insanely broken.

It's a rough start, but if you grind between Mandalia Plains and Sweegy Woods and get the hand of the most broken jobs, the game becomes very easy save for a couple of RNG spots (Riovanes I'm looking at you).
Also, game's over once you get T.G. Cid.

Eh, just wondering. I remember people telling me "it's because some blind eyes can make other people uncomfortable" or something like that, and if so, I believe it's something that needs to change.

This is an old bug from the PS1 era that I'm sad to see wasn't fixed.
I personally completed both TR4 and 5 with no bugs whatsoever, but I guess patching is still needed. A shame.
