Oh man, Mint with MATE was my daily driver for three and a half years and I miss it. Was nice being able to use some old GNOME themes I missed.
Bit more fond of KDE these days, though ...

I might give Kubuntu a spin and report back with how I find it. Had some better luck with it on a couple machines. (...it's the only thing I could get wifi working under on a 2015 MacBook Pro, too)

How's it been for you? I've been trying it on my desktop and it's been alright, weird colors on boot and iffy wifi at moments have me mulling over trying something else though.
