Yes sadly that's true. There are some now who are bewildered that Trump has targeted them.U know the ones who've had citizenship for 5yrs & saw themselves as "better" immigrants than "those others" who they thought Trump was talking about.Ignorance steeped in arrogance never creates good outcomes.

You lost it when the meglomaniac was "voted" back in. Look at what he did in 2020: after losing he tweeted “we did win this election.This is a major fraud in our nation,” then Jan 6 where he encouraged the capitol riot. What the f did you think would happen if he got in again?Shame on those voters

I think what people need to do is strike on mass. Imagine all the transport workers refusing to go to work, airport workers, teachers, supermarket workers, fuel station workers etc all refusing to work. (In Australia there are unions that protect workers from getting sacked while striking)

I think for the US it's too late. Paraphrasing part of Abe Lincoln's lyceum address: the greatest threat to America comes not from foreign powers, but from internal decay or division. Democracy in USA as you knew it is no longer.

Unfortunately the only thing that will stop him has to come out of a barrel. Why Americans voted him in the first time was astounding...the second time after you all knew who he was and what he stood for is despicable.

Many though didn't vote at all. A good percentage of them hated Trump but couldn't bring themselves to vote for a black woman so they didn't vote. Had they chosen "the lesser of 2 evils" so to speak, the result undoubtedly would have been different

Then why did Americans vote in someone who, to the rest of the world, stood only for his own self serving gain, a misogynist that rules, constitutions etc doesn't apply to him? Sadly the flip side of trust is gullibility.

Oh they listened they just bought into the divide bias the Trumpets sold, the sister summed it up "it started with the immigrants, it's coming to us Americans" they didn't get that the Administration doesn't see them as Americans. They were ok with ethnic cleansing as it was "them" not "us" thing.
