So, the team_id for a batch is not stored directly in the batches table, but is derived through the relation batches.product_id → products.id → products.team_id. That team_id in the products table is what we use to check whether the user has access to the resource.

The batches table has a column called product_id, which references a record in the products table.
In the products table, each record contains a team_id column, which is used to determine which team the product (and therefore the associated batch) belongs to.

Is it possible to synchronize this using Powersync (without adding the ID to the table)? I would only do it for the last resource.

I was unable to make it work. Therefore, I created a view in the database to attempt to “fix” the problem.

Currently, the database contains the “team_id” for products, brands, categories, and stores. The token also contains this ID. However, batches do not have the “team_id” in the database. The “team_id” for batches is determined by the product_id and then by the product.

Nice update, I'm implementing powersync in a project, and maybe the sync streams will fix a problem that I was having with simple rules
