All ballistic exoatmospheric missiles are hypersonic. That’s nothing new, nor are MIRVs, and if the flight time reported by the Ukrainians is correct (15 minutes), it flies a classic ballistic arc and is not a hypersonic glide.

Not to make light of nuclear threats, but so what? Hasn’t Russia had much longer range ballistic missiles for decades now? Is this a tacit admission that Topol-M wasn’t really functional but somehow RS-26 is?

Who is it actually scaring? Bot accounts pretending to be afraid? Russia has had ballistic missiles able to reach most anywhere in the world for decades, this wasn’t a particularly effective threat.
