Happy Thanksgiving! Four months ago I had a heart attack; healthy 55-year-old.Today I’m thankful for health, family, and generosity of my community. Returned from a Turkey Trot where food was collected for school food pantries.... I felt great and ran with my husband faster than we have in years.

When things are stressful, I have found release in my yard. But today, while attacking weeds I decided to dig up the smilax growing around an azalea bush. Oh my… the bulbs were the size of a golden retriever. Do I dig up the rest or pretend I don’t see?
