Work was so hectic I couldn't properly celebrate Akaashi's birthday 😭

Oh wait!!! Now that you mentioned Tsukishima, it makes sense!! Bokuto isn't interested in people who aren't putting their all in what they do, Tsukki was like that too. When Bokuto invites him the 2nd time and he says no, Bokuto wasn't imposing and was just like, "Uh, okay then"

Bokuto, out of frame, asking Tsukishima saying, "Hey, four eyes! You gonna come help me practice spiking again tonight?"

Tsukishima surprised.

Next panel is Bokuto coming to frame looking hopeful to Tsukishima. With Hinata in the background listening in to the convo.

Apparently Bokuto also went to another world, became a hero there, and then came back....

So now he's wondering why Akaashi got lost while Akaashi being who he is (gone for Bokuto) just agrees with Bokuto, ignoring Kuroo...

Also Kenma just went home by himself halfway through the chapter 😂

Bokuto telling the story of how he saw a hole in a wall, saying, "cause I found a kind of interesting hole I got in it. at the other world, Valkroud, I became a hero and save the world"

Kuroo goes on to say, "it feels like you went on a big adventure that couldn't be finished in just 3 days!?" referencing to the phrase

Bokuto ignores Kuroo, and goes on to say, "Seriously, Akaashi. why are you wondering around aimlessly and getting lost???"

Akaashi agrees with Bokuto, saying, "That's right. I'm sorry, Bokuto-san"

Kuroo going, "Don't lose, Akaashi"

Bokuto goes on to say, "seriously, Akaashi is still lost even though you're a high school student"

Cut to Kuroo being on the phone with Kenma, saying, "So, I wonder where did Kenma-kun go"

And Kenma going, "Huh? Home"

Kuroo goes on to say, "Isn't it cruel to go home first?"

Now Bokuto appears with full battle outfit, not acknowledging Kuroo at all 😂

Then simp Akaashi is back with his first smile saying that he's glad nothing happened to Bokuto.

Apparently Bokuto was looking for Akaashi who disappeared, that's why he went to the bookstore and the pet store....

Kuroo looking back asking, "Bokuto, until now, where have you-"

interrupted by Bokuto using full battle armour with sword and shield saying, "Akaashi, where have you been until now!!"

Kuroo going, "you're one to talk. What's with that outfit? Where have you been until now!?"

Akaashi smiling bright, "But I'm glad that you're found with nothing happened [to you]"

Kuroo behind him screaming, "Something definitely happened though, definitely!!"

Bokuto, still in his battle armour, "Huh? Akaashi disappeared so I was looking for you though."

Kuroo and Akaashi both goes, "Huh?"

Bokuto goes on saying, "Akaashi likes books, right? So I went to the bookstore. You were also wearing a T-shirt with a strange dog on it, so I thought you were looking at dogs so I went to the pet shop"

Now they're at the lost center and Akaashi's so worried that he goes, "Life is at stake!!! Call 119 (emergency number) or 110 (police number!!"

Kuroo has to stop him and tell the Call Center to make an announcement instead....

Then here comes Bokuto's, "Hey hey heyy!!!"

Kuroo with his hand on Akaashi shoulder, stopping him, "Who would be stranded here when it's full of restaurants both upstairs and downstairs? Announcement please!!"

Announcement calling for Bokuto Koutarou from Tokyo to come to the lost center at the 2nd floor. And here comes Bokuto's, "Hey, hey, heyyy!!"

Back to Akaashi's unhinged behavior, when Kuroo's like, "so the trails ends here"

Akaashi's like, "Not yet!! Bokuto-san leaves a shining afterglow everywhere he walks" 😭

The Bookstore manager saying,"..If he is lost, why not try calling him at the Lost Center?"

So basically Hirugami realized that Bokuto was at the pet store & trying to make an owl remember his name.

Cut to Bokuto telling the owl (in English), "Bokuto is ace~!" and the owl just hooting at him (God, I love him so much 😭)

then he went to a bookstore, which surprised all three of them

Kenma going, "he might have read a manga at least"

At the bookstore Kuroo and Akaashi is in front of the store manager telling the story and the store manager said that Bokuto was at the store

And now when Hirugami (with Hoshiumi bird) tries to clear up what they were saying he said, "so he is lost (maigo)" and somehow Akaashi heard it as My God and said that Bokuto is his God???? Even Kenma tells him to be quiet now

Hirugami says to them, "I'm sorry but hold you stop presenting information like it's a modern Japanese language test?"

then next panel is Hirugami holding Hoshiumi bird looking at the three (Akaashi, Kuroo, and Kenma), saying, "Oh well..so you said he is lost (maigo)..

Akaashi with only his back showing, says, "[He is] My God!"

Next, they start asking the pet store manager (Hirugami cameo!) whether he's seen Bokuto. Kuroo & Kenma has a perfectly normal description of Bokuto's physical appearance and personality...

And then Akaashi's just saying his completely unhinged description of Bokuto 😭

And Hirugami just going.... "Huh???"

Then Kuroo starts describing Bokuto with Hirugami listening to him,
"His hair is grey and spiky. And his pupils are always wide open"

Kenma also describing Bokuto to Hirugami with Hirugami listening, saying, "He likes to stand out and he wants attention/be cared for"

Akaashi, very serious, describing Bokuto
to Hirugami, saying, "Also he is filled with the aura of an ace that shines with a brightness that is blinding to the eyes. He is a legendary figure (definitely planned) who will carry the future of Japanese volleyball."

Hirugami starts saying, "Excuse me.."

Now at the pet store Akaashi is absolutely unhinged... From dissing Kuroo & Kenma looking cat, saying that the owl is Bokuto, and then asking Inouka looking puppy if he can find someone who smells like the hair sample (?) he has 😭

At the pet store, there's two cats looking like Kenma and Kuroo. Akaashi (?) maybe, said that Kenma cat has a bad look in its' eyes while Kuroo cat just has a bad appearance.

And then he found an owl and goes, "This is.... Bokuto-san...?"

Kenma asked, "Is Akaashi's eyes & head/mind bad?"

Then Akaashi's holding a hair sample (?) of Bokuto and asked an Inouka looking puppy whether he can find someone who smells like that sample. Kuroo says to not impose weird fates on the newborn angels.

Then pet store employee Hirugami, holding a Hoshiumi looking bird asking Kenma what he's looking for. Then Kuroo, next to Kenma, says they're looking for a lost (person).

And Hirugami goes, "lost, you said..."

Kenma says, "Sorry"

Kuroo also says, "I said I'm sorry"

Then Akaashi starts saying, "shiki soku ze ku (form is emptiness). Ku soku ze hiki (emptiness is form)"

Kuroo continues the song, "the little owlbis only constantly panicking"

Kenma says, "the way it panic isn't cute huh"

Now they're at the petshop and Kuroo and Kenma is looking at a cat that looks like Yaku.

Kuroo says, "....he (bokuto) doesn't seem to have the image of someone who'll come to to a pet shop"

Kenma says, "[cause] he does seem to like himself the best"

Akaashi starts using a phrase for Bokuto and Kuroo corrects him 😂

Then Kuroo asks Akaashi whether he has tried calling Bokuto by phone and Akaashi's like, "No way he can?" and now Kuroo's just like, "just put a collar on him when you go out together" 😭

And then Akaashi starts singing 😭

Akaashi starts saying a phrase to praise Bokuto's unpredictability, "you should see a person with fresh eyes every time because even after just 3 days people can possibly change. that's a phrase meant for bokuto-san"

Kuroo corrects him by saying, "it's a phrase for Lu Meng"

Translator note, this is a phrase from Chinese history said by a general named Lu Meng, whose knowledge has grown after reading books, to the kingdom advisor was surprised by his growth

Akaashi looking judgemental saying,

Now here's Akaashi being absolutely devastated that he lost Bokuto who was supposed to be the world's BOKUTO and Kuroo starting to realize that Akaashi's is just as weird as Bokuto is.... And Kenma's just 😭

One really interesting part of Bokuto's character is that, instead of feeling hurt, Furudate said that Bokuto lose interest in his teammates after this. It gives us such an interesting perspective on what kind of character Bokuto is. Also, the way we never hears his thought here? Wild.

Middle school Bokuto saying, "Only three more laps, guys!"

His old teammates thinking that Bokuto is too intense and that they don't want to be passing drills with him and that they'll take a short cut

Bokuto looking around all alone cause his teammates decides to take a shortcut. And then he keeps going.

Also, one thing abt akaashi is that i think being with bokuto is freeing for him. Like, emotionally. We see in the previous panel that when he was reflecting by himself, he was all serious, lots of regrets & no tears. But once bokuto talk to him, it's like his emotions burst out and he's free-

People might think that Bokuto is the one who cry more between Bokuaka. But statistically speaking, we've seen akaashi cry more at emotional situations than bokuto. LIKE LOOK AT HIM??? Akaashi is a cry baby!!! You guys don't get him like I do!!!!
