Yeah I get that the post-patch EW was really pulling hard from FF4, but to me that whole section was...side content. They wrapped up the scions story with main EW, and didnt want to spend all the post patches as pre DT so they told a standalone-ish story. I didnt mind, but then ive not played ff4
